Here is what I went through with these horrible people. My email to them: “Hello, I do have a question, Why did the battery swell? Is that because of something I did? The motor mount broke already and I repaired that. Now the motor shaft is cracked? I am 58 years old and don’t do tricks or stunts. I just commute. I dought I could sell it for the $600 repair bill. The wheels fell apart “chunked”, what would you do in my situation? By the way, the board was already sent in for repair from Hawaii before. Reading the Evolve forums, the wheels are known to fall apart, the motor mounts are known to snap and I would imagine the batteries swell with other people. It seems I paid $1000 for a year of riding and now I have nothing. I am at a loss of what to do”.

Their answer, We will dispose of your items Have a nice day.

DO NOT BUY AN EVOLVE SKATEBOARD!

Poor quality! My Blink S2 stopped working in 2 months. Sent in for repair and Action would not honor the warranty. This board reminds me of those helicopters you bought when you were a kid and they broke on the first day. Look elsewhere!

This board has so many things going right for it, unfortunately their design team just cannot deliver on everything. The handling of the board is great, the on road/off road conversion is cool and 99% functional (The belt covers that come with the kit for the off road wheels rub on the wheels, causing a lot of friction. I just took them off). The remote is another story. First day i had the board the remote cut out on me (A common issue that many riders have complained about) and i fell at full speed, breaking the remote and screen. After this i contacted Evolve and they told me they couldn’t replace the remote because they were out of stock and when they were back in stock in a month i could order one. So i sat for a full month after spending $2,100 on a longboard, and spent another $100 on a new remote. The new remote worked, but only temporarily. Even the slightest drop of the remote pulls the spring (that holds the brake disengaged) off of its standoff. That causes the issue where you physically have to hold the brake disengaged in order to hit the accelerator (you cant hit both at the same time). Well, after trying to stop dozens of time and spilling hot coffee, falling off the board, and ruining my $3,000 Macbook pro in my backpack due to the brake engagement being too abrupt because of the brake button issue, i have finally decided to hang this board up and just ride my boosted boards. This board would be perfect if the connectivity issues were fixed, and if the standoff that holds the brake spring was larger so it wouldn’t fall off constantly. Hopefully these issues will one day be resolved, then i will think about trying the company again. Until then, i will continue riding my Boosted stealth and XR (combined 900 riding miles). If you want a reliable board, i would suggest doing the same.

Worst customer service ever. Ordered something from them emailed them 3 weeks later. Still not sent and they said it was gonna be another month. Never said me an email never connected with me at all just let me hang in period after I sent them their cash

To all of you out there guys – don’t even think of buying it, save your money!!! I have 3.0 for a year and it’s sucks!!! All over performance is 5 out of ten. Quality build of the board is acceptable but electronics has been changed before the year ended (motherboard & battery). The biggest problem is the company itself…not answering emails, promising to post stuff and never do, and when they do post (in my case spare wheels after 8 month promises) they send you a wrong type and when you contact them they not answering emails!!!

What do you think about these boards after a couple of months that they are present? I don’t see a big game changer to be honest.
